This ep is a must have for any fleet foxes fan even if it lacks some of the truly outstanding tracks of the debut album such as tiger mountain peasant song and oliver james. Released in a gatefold sleeve with the sun giant ep as a bonus. I play the album all the time and sun giant along with it. When i opened it up and realized sun giant was in there of course i was shocked.

Robin pecknold played a rare solo set last week here in cincinnati at the excellent musicnow festival opening for joanna newsom. Got album in great condition and love both the original fleet foxes album and did not expect to recieve the sun giant ep along with the lp. I was pleasantly surprised when i received this album on vinyl to find that it s a bi fold gate packaged with fleet foxes ep sun giant. First collection 2006 2009 spans the early days of fleet foxes career including the self titled debut album plus the sun giant ep the fleet foxes ep formerly a very limited edition self released ep and b sides rarities.

Fleet foxes and sub pop present a limited edition collection in honor of the 10th anniversary of fleet foxes debut lp. I was originally torn because i really like the song mykonos which only appears on the ep but decided to pull the trigger on this self titled album.
